Volunteers make things work
You can make a difference in the lives of birds at Free Flight. People help birds while birds help people.
The volunteer opportunities are flexible and work with your availability. A minimum twice monthly 2-hour shift is required, except for special events and maintenance volunteers.
Ways to get involved:

Duties include cage cleaning, yard cleanup, feeding the birds, and helping visitors socialize with the birds.Sanctuary Maintenance:

Internships are typically 8-16 hours a week for a 3-6 month period to meet the desired outcome. Internships focus on 3 areas: animal husbandry in a sanctuary setting, public interaction, and education.Special Events:
Volunteers help with marketing and setting up fundraising events, summer programs and community engagement events as well as working the events.Junior Docent Program for Teens:
